The Amazing Spider-man 2 suit | 3D Recreation

3D Recreation of my favourite movie suit ever made till 2021, This model took alot of work and I mean ALOT, I started progress on this model back in early 2020 and my skills weren't that great yet. I had to learn tons of stuff just to make this model and I'm very grateful about this experience, It wasn't fun trying to discover how to do things on your own but It was worth it at the end. I learnt alot of techniques from this project especially in rigging! making these renders took me 20 days and I really hope that they look good for whoever is viewing them right now :) (yes i'm talking about you!) Cya later guys when I make another model that takes 1 year

First time posing the model for a render, wrinkles were sculpted on the suit after posing instead of doing a cloth sim

the webbing was manually modelled, i used shrinkwrap modifier to make it stick to the suit to make the process easier. I copied the weight painting of the suit to the webbing mesh so that it would follow it while posing

The red material was created using the anisotropic BSDF shader, while the blue material is just a principled shader with a roughness map and a normal map

nothing is better than seeing spiderman in his swinging pose in my opinion!

My favourite render out of all of them, the electricity was done using pngs mixed with emission shader (node magic!). This is based on leaks we got about a fight scene from No Way Home (Spoiler alert 0-0?)

Took me a while to make this lighting even though it looks super simple but It does it's job!

Had alot of fun making this render, getting that cinematic look wasn't that hard somehow

This model took me a full year of research, practice and tons of prototypes just to reach this final one, I had to learn how to make the suit materials look real, which technique I was going to use for the webbing, how to rig it and make it presentable
